Handyman Fixfast Service Agreement

This agreement is between Nick C. Casale of HANDYMAN FIXFAST and all individuals, homeowners, customers, property owners and companies who hire HANDYMAN FIXFAST to provide services.

AUTHORIZATION: By providing work orders or invitations (verbally or written) to perform handyman services, you authorize HANDYMAN FIXFAST to perform the agreed-upon services in accordance with this entire agreement. Nick C. Casale of HANDYMAN FIXFAST is extremely easy to work with, highly flexible, and not only diligent about keeping costs down, but also about avoiding mishaps or the unexpected. Rarely does the unforeseen or unexpected occur with the types and level of jobs taken on by HANDYMAN FIXFAST. This agreement helps ensure all parties concerned are aware of the mutually agreed upon rates, limitations, processes, risks and shared responsibilities.

THE FOLLOWING TERMS, AGREEMENTS, AND CONDITIONS APPLY:

• Unless otherwise agreed upon, homeowners / customers provide all items or parts to be installed. If it is agreed upon for HANDYMAN FIXFAST to purchase the items or parts, payment may be required before work begins.
• Time spent picking up supplies, parts, and materials is billable.
• If special or custom tools are required to complete a job, cost of those tools may also be billable items.
• I provide residential services directly for homeowners.
• HANDYMAN FIXFAST provides small repair and replacement services only and does not offer contractor-level services or warranties.
• Workmanship: If a task was performed incorrectly, which would be rare, I will return to correct the workmanship at no additional labor cost. This does not cover part failures, manufacturer defects, normal wear, or issues unrelated to the original work performed.

RATES: HANDYMAN FIXFAST agrees to provide services at the current hourly rate or agreed-upon price. Most services are billed in one-hour increments with a one-hour minimum. Payment is due the same day services are provided unless other arrangements are made.

NOTES: Handyman work can reveal hidden issues in structural, plumbing, electrical, or other systems. Some examples include:

• Replacing a valve may expose a failing pipe elsewhere in the system.
• Installing a faucet may reveal a leaking angle stop or valve.
• Installing fixtures may reveal brittle wiring or damaged boxes.
• A simple hole drilled in a wall could hit a wire, pipe, etc.

Sensors, measurements, standard techniques and processes are used to avoid issues. However, unforeseen situations can occur when performing repair work. These risks are rare but inherent in repair work. The homeowner / customer retains full responsibility for the condition of their property and its systems before, during, and after the work is performed.

STATEMENT OF AGREEMENT: By requesting work to be performed by Nick C. Casale of HANDYMAN FIXFAST and/or a designated representative, you confirm that you have been invited to review this agreement and mutually agree to all of its terms, agreements and conditions.
